Franklinville NY – Triple R Resort was our next destination. The trip was going well until we decided to use the truck GPS and not the directions provided by Good Sam’s. We head down a road that was not a truck route and paid a very dear price. Narrow roads, clearance questions, and a roller coaster ride. After much yelling and stress for both of us, we find a truck route and take it. We arrive, and Triple R and it seems nice and we enter the facility. We get our site and are directed to follow a woman in a golf cart to our site. So up a very narrow road, we go past very close trees and rather deep ditches on either side. Our site is in view, it’s at the top of the resort or mountain, flat, not bad and we set it down.

The site turned out to be quiet and nice. Great area to walk the dogs. I would suggest a lakeside back in or pull through the next time. Not a lot of shade but seems flat. If we come here again the site, we had or the two just below us we do. Lynn and Terry visited, and we ended up having a great fire with some wood they brought by. It would be worth buying some firewood the next go around. The propane was giving me fits. The tanks seemed filled but were not giving us any fuel. After talking with the owner, he informed me that the tanks may have not been bled properly. Ended up going to Olean to have that fixed and filled again.

Up and Adam and off to Ohio where we plan to stay near Columbus at Autumn LakesRV Park in Sunbury, OH. But first a hairy ride down the mountain, with tight turns and deep ditches again. The turnout was up a hill and rather sharp. We made it safely out of the resort and off we headed. Autumn Lakes turns out to be a very nice location, but a bit off the beaten path. The pull through we got was level and easy to pull in. There is ample parking and a great place to walk the dogs along with a great fenced area for off-leash activities. There are no restaurants close, so you must eat in or travel a bit to dine out. The pool looked inviting and the folks at check-in were great. This was an overnight, so we stayed hooked up to the Boris.

I decide to clean black tanks the night before. This meant that in the morning we would not be using the RV for our business. The restrooms where very clean we use them that morning. Off we go headed south to home base. I discover about an hour out that I have left my phone in the bathroom back at the resort. We call the resort to find out that someone had turned it in, thank you, lord. I turnaround and head back to the resort eating up 1 ½ hour. We arrive home in the dark.
There is a first time for everything and I now had to back the rig in the dark. We still do not have our signals down and I, of course, get a little testy but manage to get us parked. The best part was the big hug I got from Ginny for doing so!

I take the rig in for repairs to Dunlop RV. We finally get a good answer to the inverter issues we were having. Seems the batteries that they had installed were not large enough to handle the load. This would kick the inverter off and shut the refrigerator down. New batteries solved that issue. The couch was not properly put together at the manufacturer, they fixed that as well along with a small issue with the awning.
