DC Move In
The primary reason we purchased the RV was to visit with family. The secondary reason is to be on call when we are needed. We were needed in Ft. Belvoir, VA to help with a move to a new Military assignment for our Son-In-Law, Daughter, and grandson. It had been some time since we visited the east coast. This year’s travels took us back to some of our favorite places and a few new ones, too. We kicked things off at North Myrtle Beach, one of our all-time favorite Atlantic Coast spots. Staying at the North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Marina gave us the perfect mix of beach time, and laid-back coastal living.
From there, we headed south for a month-long stay near Tampa and St. Pete, where the sunshine, friendly folks, and Gulf Coast charm reminded us why we love Florida winters so much. Later in the year, we made our way to Elkhart, Indiana, and then up to western New York just in time to catch the brilliant fall foliage—a beautiful way to wrap up another great travel season on the road.
Can’t wait to see where the road takes us next! ???
