Travelers World RV Park – San Antonio, TX – Destination Location

Rates: $52 – $79

If you are ever near or plan a trip to Texas, San Antonio is a must stop. This RV Park Is a MUST STAY !!!! When we pulled into this location, there where about 7 RV’s in the waiting Q to check in at 1 pm. The check-in process went quickly and we headed to our pull through site right next to the pool. They did not guide us to our spot and frankly, the maps they provide are a bit difficult to read. You can get a bit turned around and in a spot, you don’t want to be. Beyond that, as I looked around the facility it was tidy and spotless. This pull-through site was level and manicured nicely. We have a concrete pad extending the entire length of the rig, no need for our sand mats which was a god sent. The picnic tables are new with umbrella holes but no stands. The pads were such that I could have used the tie down’s for the awning if needed. We were located right next to the pool and that put us across the road from the laundry, dog walk, and bathhouse. This location has it all, work out facility, yoga area, a dog area that is carpeted, very clean laundry and bathhouse. Just a few 100 yards away is the River Walk. This is an 11-mile walk along the Guadalupe River. Picnic tables, bike rentals, parks, access to the Missions….just a very special walking and riding area. As for access, you will need to follow the directions that are provided by the resort and ditch your GPS. There are low bridges and a railroad track that you will not want to run into. I will get into a rundown of San Antonio in another post, it is a gem. For now, this is a ⛺️ ⛺️ ⛺️ ⛺️ ⛺️ location….we would come back in an instant

Park Link: Travelers World RV Resort

Laundry/Bathhouse: Outstanding and very clean. There where two locations close to us. The machines were in good order and the bathhouse had a number of stalls.

Grocery: You are on the south side of the city and there are plenty of options to choose from and nearby.

Restaurants: Some of the best can be found a short drive to downtown San Antonio RiverWalk district. You have a number of choices.

Activities: We did not partake in any at the park itself. However, there are numerous walking paths, missions, sites and sounds of San Antonio that will keep you plenty occupied.
