RV Park Reviews
Sentinel Peak RV Park
This is the only downtown RV park in Tucson. Just 3 minutes from over 300 restaurants, shops, and attractions, providing you with unmatched access to arts, culture, and entertainment during your stay. You are 30 minutes away from the main attraction in my mind, Saguaro National Park. This is a GoodSams Park
Big Texan RV Ranch
The Big Texan offers long spacious pull-thru sites. Enjoy the heated indoor pool – open year round. Relax in the adults only Jacuzzi spa and sauna. They are easy to find, close to attractions, shopping, and restaurants, including the famous Big Texan Steak Ranch with a complimentary shuttle service to and from your true Texan dining experience.
Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort
As they say in their information, “An Ideal location minutes from the famous Las Vegas strip”. This was our second stay, we had a weekly rate which is the best value. This is in my mind a vacation location, you could never leave the park and be happy.

Itineraries
Homeward Bound Trip Recap
After spending a solid week in Vegas helping Ginny’s Mom around the house we were ready to head back home. The ride out proved to be a challenge with tire issues, leveling jacks not working and long drives between stops. The return was laid out a bit different with shorter drives between our destinations and a little bit of downtime.
Viva Las Vegas Trip Recap
Ready, set, blast off for the new 2019 travel season. Boris, Natasha, Zoey, Ginny and I hit the road. We were on a mission our first trip, heading to Vegas to visit with family. The plan was to try and travel an hour or two longer daily and build in relaxation and downtime. We did increase our travel time between parks by approximately two hours. The downtime was not so good due to a variety of unexpected events.
Native American Experience Itinerary
Visually this was the most scenic portion of our month and halve long trip this past April. The desert southwest and the southern Rockies are some very beautiful country. First stop, Sante Fe, NM and the Los Suenos RV resort. What Monument Valley is visual, Sante Fe is cultural. We enjoyed a few days there and headed to Cortez, CO to stay near Mesa Verde National Park. The butte was visible from our site at Mesa Verde RV park.
