Campground ⛺️ review

Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park & Campgrounds. – 3574 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Park Site: Los Suenos RV Park

About

Let me first say this is a Location, Location, Location park. Accessing Los Suenos RV Park & Campground by RV convenient, via our entry from Cerrillos Road, but don’t blink or you will miss the small sign. The park connects directly with Santa Fe’s extensive hiking and biking trail system. The trail system offers a great opportunity for walking, running or bicycling during your visit to Santa Fe.

Public buses travel from the bus stop just outside the campground, on Cerrillos Road, to Santa Fe’s downtown Plaza area every 15 minutes, allowing you the convenience of public transportation as an alternative to driving and parking in the Plaza area.

Amenities

Does it have plenty of green space, no, are the sites level and ample, partially? Do they have great facilities, the bathhouse was clean, which also served as the laundry. The machines needed some work and frankly did a very poor job of washing and drying. Is there a pool, yes, indoor..how about a great area for the dogs, not to great.

What this does have is a great 15 min ride to downtown Santa Fe and surrounding museums. If you’re looking for a garden spot, this is not it. However, it is convenient, on a bus line and closes to everything in Santa Fe. The streets of Sante Fe are narrow and the parking is very limited. I would highly recommend a cab, bus, bike or uber unless you have a smaller vehicle.  I am going to give this ⛺️ ⛺️  out of five for the facility ….. and ⛺️ ⛺️ ⛺️ ⛺️ out of 5 for location.

Laundry/Bathhouse: Located in the center of the property, the bathroom where clean. The laundry was in the same building and the machines had seen better days. The dryers did not work properly.

Grocery: You are located on the main drag into Santa Fe. There are ample grocery stores of all varieties.

Restaurants: There are hundreds on your doorstep. The Downtown Santa Fe is but a short 1 or 2-mile drive. Your cab and Uber availability are but a call away.

Activities: Canyon Road, Downtown Sante Fe, Museum Hill, St Francis Cathedral, just to name a few. Each deserves at least a day or so of your time. The only regret we had was not building more time to explore Sante Fe.
